The site of the caves of Sare includes a museum and a megalithic park, in free access, which will allow you to deepen the topics discussed during the visit of the cavity Lezea.
The site museum addresses several topics. You will first discover the various stages of Human evolution from Prehistory to the present day thanks to information panels and the exposition of relics dating from numerous periods.
You will then get a chance to better know JM de Barandiaran, eminent Basque prehistorian and ethnologist to whom the visit is dedicated, before letting children learn how to recognize the different bat species.
You can access the site museum free of charge before or after the guided-tour of the Caves of Sare.

With the help of information panels in 4 languages, you will observe these monuments as well as some of the rituals of that period such as burial and cremation.
